Salesforce Licence Analyst
Manchester City Centre - close to Victoria Station
Upto £30,000 dependent on experience + Excellent Benefits
This role will be based within the Salesforce team, but have extensive communication with stakeholders across the Group. The role will manage the overall effective use of Salesforce within the Group, ensuring access rights are maintained and updated, identifying those where utilisation is below minimum levels and does not represent a valid investment to the Group.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- A weekly review of current excess of licences across the Group with a view to re-allocation to internal group companies where needed
- Ensuring cost utilisation is managed on a regular basis
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and finance to look at headcount forecasts / changes which may impact Salesforce utilisation.
- Creation of Salesforce profiles aligned to specific roles and permissions group wide, maintaining group profile definitions by job roles, and ensuring that all group businesses adhere to them.
- Ensuring clarification with Stakeholders of Group wide standard profiles and permissions settings, along with continuous review to reflect any new positions/role changes
- Maintain a weekly report of active licences, unused licences, and low utilisation (users who do not access Salesforce very often) with a view to ‘predict’ future licence needs
- Reducing the assignment to underutilised licences.
- Working to targets around managing Salesforce expenditure based on realistic usage with growth. Whilst ensuring maximum efficiency of group wide licences.
- Achieving an overall expenditure reduction with consolidation of multiple user accounts and analysing business needs.
- Ensuring there is a sufficient buffer of licences to accommodate net increases in staff users of Salesforce
- Working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment on budgeted user growth volumes which impact Salesforce costs.

- Able to liaise and negotiate with key internal stakeholders.
- Creative planning and high accuracy in obtaining growth forecasts to balance Salesforce licences
- Ability to compile thorough reports based on business growth and usage analysis.
