Now we’re into 2025, we’re ready to bring you even more major HR and Health & Safety news, so you can stay safely in line with the latest legislation and keep your business fully up to date.
And in terms of legal changes, we’re already off to a flying start.
If your leave year runs from January to December and you employ part-year and irregular hour workers, you’ll now be able to change how you calculate their pay.
Last year it became legal for employers to use the rolled-up holiday pay method (a method which was previously banned) – but only for part-year and irregular hour workers. This took effect for leave years on or after April 2024.
