This is one of the best books that I have read in a while - Rework authored by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson and wonderfully illustrated by Mike Rohde. This book is for any entrepreneur, employer, employee or anyone who wishes to be more productive at work. It starts with home truths and asks whether we are getting the best out of our time. Are we taking advantage of our potential? Think of every philosophical saying or belief about time management, well this book blows all of them out of the water. Instead, it provides plenty of home truths, dares you to be different and most importantly inspires you. The book encourages each of us to think out of the box, use our imagination more, break barriers and using these ideas it will help improve our productivity. It provides brutally honest advice and really gets you thinking about how we work on a daily basis.

The book also looks at how to increase productivity from employees, not by following the traditional rules, but by taking a different approach.

I have read the book twice and each time I have learnt something new. It has helped me personally improve productivity by changing the way I prioritise my workload. As I have already mentioned it blows conventional methods of thinking out of the water, with honest thinking and new ideas. It is also beautifully illustrated by Mike Rohde; his creative illustrations reinforce skilfully each message that is delivered.

In conclusion if you are looking for a book to boost productivity, if you just want to get ahead in business, if you are a start-up or even an already established business then ReWork is definitely worth reading. It is honestly written, with a refreshing and educational tone wrapped into it and I am sure it will do much to inspire.
