BusinessWise: Account Security

Peninsula Team

November 03 2010

The security of your business information is of paramount importance. Accordingly, our complementary online service BusinessWise has strict security provisions in place to ensure your data is as safe and secure as possible.

These provisions include time-outs to help to prevent prying eyes from viewing your account during periods of inactivity; we have 128-bit encryption in place to continually protect your data and every user must go through the secure login process to access the service.

Internal security measures within Peninsula prevent anyone other than a very small number of our employees with specified, tightly-controlled user rights from accessing our client data - and those members of our team will only do so at your request, in order to assist you with using your BusinessWise account. We do not and will not access your data unless there is a specific user requirement for us to do so.

As such, we also want to encourage you to carefully consider and regularly review the Users who are set up with access to your BusinessWise account in order to ensure these are up to date and each User has appropriate access rights.

To do so, once you are logged into BusinessWise please go to ‘My Account’ where you can view and edit access rights and add or delete users as necessary - this is particularly important when a User no longer works for your organisation!

Please ensure your list of users is reviewed on a regular basis to ensure the ongoing integrity of your account is maintained at all times. If you should need any assistance with this please contact the BusinessWise Helpdesk on 0844 892 2780.

BusinessWise offers a range of tools and features to registered users to assist in managing the ongoing obligations associated with running an effective and legally-compliant business and is provided as part of our portfolio of consultancy services. If you are not yet a Peninsula client, simply go to and click on ‘Contact Us’ to get in touch.
