BusinessWise is available exclusively as a value-added tool to all of our consultancy clients. One of our main objectives in providing this online service to our clients is to make practical management tools available. These should help you to put our guidance and advice into practice as part of the day to day operations in your company.
The business management tools available, for our Health & Safety clients, include our newly developed online Risk Assessments tool which has recently been updated with further enhancements to make this service even easier to use.
The range of updates that have been released include:
o An ‘Editing Log’ for each General Risk Assessment which identifies when a user has edited a (previously completed) Risk Assessment. This is accessed by right-clicking on the Risk Assessment from the Task List page and by choosing the View Editing Log option from the drop-down menu.
o A new non-mandatory Notes field has been added to the final tab of the General Risk Assessment wizard. This will allow users to make any contemporaneous notes regarding their management of the risks involved in that particular Task.
o The viewing of a Risk Assessment by Read-Only users has been significantly improved so that it is immediately obvious no changes can be made to the RA content. This is achieved by greying-out the on-screen fields so these can be read but not used.
o Up to 14 days after a Premises Fire Risk Assessment is started the Fire Checklist can now be edited; the ‘Edit Checklist’ button is activated once the Checklist has been completed and appears as part of the header.
o The Fire Checklist tab has been improved to make navigation of this lengthy section a lot easier. The different sections of the Checklist now expand (as a ‘waterfall’ effect) once the previous section has been completed, making navigation on this page a lot tidier and more manageable. Each section is activated by clicking the ‘Next’ button at the foot of the page.
o A fantastic new Edit Hazards / Lists feature is now available enabling users to edit, remove or delete any bespoke items they have added using the Selector tools within a Premises Fire or General Risk Assessment.
