BusinessWise will then automatically generate an alert message, based on the data entered, to identify holidays which are due to be taken during the following week. This arrives as a message within BusinessWise every Monday and, if desired, can be sent as an email to your inbox. This message can help to ensure cover arrangements or other contingencies are put in to place.
In addition, the ‘EmployWise Reports’ feature includes a number of management reports which allow holidays booked, or already taken to be easily identified. Amongst these reports you can also find the helpful ‘Absence Calendar’ report which gives an at-a-glance summary of all holidays booked by an individual over the current calendar year. The ‘Absence Planner’ report presents information for a group of employees for a set month meaning it is easy to see who within your workforce is absent at any given time, enabling decision making on holiday requests to become a quick and easy process.
Using BusinessWise to log the holidays booked by your workforce also allows you to keep track on an individual basis, of how much of their entitlement each employee has booked and how many days of entitlement are remaining. Each Employee Record, when viewed, provides an at-a-glance summary of the current year’s entitlement.
