I was reading on the Personnel Today website that employers who flout minimum wage law are to be named and shamed. Peninsula have always encouraged its clients to keep up to speed with the minimum wage changes. Often there has been confusion in the hospitality industry regarding the contribution of tips counting towards the minimum wage . Our advice is to call the Peninsula Advice Line should you have any concerns because if what Personnel Today are saying is true then the HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) will name and shame employers who break the law - publicity no employer wants.
