Tribunal Calculator
Being summoned to an employment tribunal is a serious matter, and if it is not managed correctly, it can place a significant strain on your business time and resources. Facing a tribunal claim also carries the risk of costs that can easily run into the thousands of pounds.
Claimant key information
Our Peninsula Tribunal Remedy Calculator gives employers an easy way to see what a claimant might be awarded if an employment tribunal claim is successful. By adding a few key details about the case, the calculator provides quick estimates so you can understand the possible costs involved.
It’s not a replacement for legal advice, but it’s a helpful starting point. It shows what a claimant could claim for, such as lost earnings, unpaid holiday, redundancy pay and other related losses. This helps you get a clear picture of the potential risk and make informed decisions early on.

How it works
Our Peninsula Tribunal Remedy Calculator gives you a quick estimate of what a claimant’s tribunal award might be worth.
1. Add your employment details You enter your salary, job dates, notice pay and whether you have a new job. This helps the calculator work out your basic financial loss.
2. Select your claim type The calculator identifies which awards apply. For example, unfair dismissal focuses on lost earnings, discrimination may include injury to feelings and redundancy includes statutory pay.
3. Calculate financial loss It estimates lost wages, future loss, unpaid holiday, notice pay and any missing benefits based on your salary and employment dates.
4. Add statutory or fixed awards If your claim includes set amounts such as a basic award or redundancy pay, these are added automatically.
5. Estimate injury to feelings For discrimination or whistleblowing claims, the calculator uses the Vento bands to give a realistic injury to feelings figure.
6. Show your total estimate All relevant parts are combined to give a clear projected award.
