Advice on lockdown & homeworking

If you’re an employer in England, you’re now likely to be asking employees to stop working or work from home again after the Prime Minister’s announcement on 31 October.

Employers in Scotland and Wales are also under separate instructions requiring business closure and working from home.

People in England that cannot work from home—such as employees in the construction or manufacturing industry or those who cannot work from home effectively—may still come into the workplace.

Below you can access an editable letter for these employees to evidence, if questioned when they are on the journey to work, that they cannot work from home.
