The situation
Block Solutions went through a “stressful restructuring process” shortly after the organisation was taken over by a new employer.
As with any takeover and consequent restructure, redundancies were becoming inevitable. HR director, Laura, was becoming increasingly concerned about the implications of making redundancies, as there were a number of long serving employees that could potentially take the business to a tribunal.
