Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity partnership
As the proud partner of Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity, we at the Peninsula Group are committed to our goal of raising £2 million for the iMRI Scanner Appeal.
In March 2019, we announced our initial pledge to raise £1 million. But in light of the coronavirus pandemic, which has impacted charitable donations and made the work of the hospital even more challenging, we decided to double our pledge to £2 million.
Peter Done, founder and Group Managing Director of Peninsula, said:
"We're delighted to have Royal Manchester Children's Hospital as our charity partner; it is an incredible organisation and needs our help more than ever. We are glad to assist, and it is a privilege to do what we can to help. For every penny our employees raise, we'll match it in corporate donations. It's one of our company's core beliefs: the importance of giving back to the local community."
Stavros Stivaros, Head of Paediatric Neuroradiology at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, added:
"This scanner will give us a state-of-the-art facility that will give children the best treatment, improving the lives of our patients and their families. We're incredibly grateful for the Peninsula staff's donations."
Sarah Naismith, Director of Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity, said:
"The money will make an amazing difference to the children's hospital. I'd like to thank everyone involved at Peninsula for such a wonderful pledge."
