Having joined the Peninsula family in 2002 David has helped business owners, directors and senior managers understand the complexities of current employment law and health & safety legislation and the impact this can have on their individual businesses.

Jill Coote

Jill has a law degree and is a CIPD member with over 25 years’ experience working within Employment Law, Human Resources and Organisational Development.

Jill has a solid operational and managerial background, which she gained from working across several different business sectors and regularly works with organisations of all sizes advising and guiding them through the minefield of managing people effectively with best business practice being demonstrated and maintained.

A highly experienced presenter and trainer, Jill has a presentation style which is lively and informative; using real life examples of best practice within the workplace. Her presenting style ensures the audience leave understanding the content in a clear and concise manner; ensuring the best possible outcomes in an ever changing world of Employment Law and Health and Safety.

Ceri Davies

Employment Law and Health & Safety Presenter

Ceri has a wealth of knowledge, presenting on HR and health & safety issues to audiences drawn from all industry types. He has over thirty five years’ experience presenting throughout Europe and North America. His easy to understand style brings two very serious subjects to life, informing, educating and entertaining attendees including business owners, directors, managers and HR / Health & Safety professionals.

He is able to draw upon hands on management experience, combining this with his extensive legal knowledge to provide pragmatic solutions for difficult business problems. Dealing with legal requirements, good business practice, employment law updates and giving current case law examples, Ceri covers a wide variety of topics in a fast paced and entertaining manner. He is well into his second decade presenting for the Peninsula Group in the UK and Ireland.

Clive Oliver

Employment Law and Health & Safety Presenter

Clive is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a Human Resources professional who has also held many senior operational roles throughout his successful career.

Immediately prior to joining Peninsula, Clive was Director of Human Resources & Employee Development with the UK’s largest privately owned retailer in it’s sector. Clive was part of a small management team that developed and grew an organisation to 35 stores with over 650 employees.

Clive’s many years in business in numerous senior management roles, enables him to use ‘real life’ experiences to help Business Owners, Directors and Managers (of all types and sizes of businesses) to understand their company’s legal obligations whilst focusing and improving employee performance and behaviour.

Clive’s fun and fast-paced presentation will demonstrate the importance of keeping your business compliant and up to date with the constant changes in Employment Law and Health & Safety legislation. However, and very importantly, you will also take away lots of practical tips and ideas for improving the success of your business through the people you employ.

Ian Langford

With over 18 years of experience there little Ian does not know about the employee challenges business owners have to deal with on a daily basis .Combined now with over 10 years of experience presenting to employers across the UK guiding them on how to handle HR issues, getting the most from their workers, and ensuring staff issues do not get in the way of running a business. With all his experience, and understanding of workplace issues, Ian believes passionately in helping businesses become successful.

Rafael Mitchell

Employment Law and Health & Safety Presenter

Rafael has worked as a keynote speaker for Peninsula since 2014 and regularly receives positive feedback from delegates for his engaging, entertaining and participative style in talking about potentially dry subjects such as Employment Law and Health & Safety.

Worked in management consultancy as a Project Manager for over 28 years, most of it on a freelance basis advising clients large and small in all business sectors on Business Improvement and Change Management programmes, throughout the UK and Europe being bilingual English/Spanish with a working knowledge of French.

He has an MBA from Henley, is a keen player/spectator of cricket and racket sports with a life-long love of nature and the outdoors in general. Approachable, well-organised, flexible and possessing a ‘dog with a bone’ attitude to asking “why?” and getting things done.

In December 2009 Steven set up The Giraffe Group which provides strategic business, property and
financial advice to individuals and organisations across the UK.
Steven has previously sat on the Management Committee for Action Foundation which is a
registered charity in Newcastle upon Tyne which is committed to social action in the North East of
Steven is committed to operating ethically in business and is a student of the Institute of Leadership
& Management and the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Steven is also an expert on staff performance and company culture and is passionate about seeing
organisations and individuals reach their potential!

Amanda Chadwick

Employment Law/Health & Safety /Employee Well Being Presenter

Based in North Wales - Amanda Chadwick is n experienced and well known speaker, specialising in all areas of employment law, Health & Safety law and employee wellbeing.

Amanda has worked as a successful, presenter/broadcaster/author for over twenty-five years advising tens of thousands of business owners with everyday issues in employment and health and safety law, by representing at tribunal, mediating, mentoring, presenting, writing and blogging.

Amanda's past has involved working in the media, developing KPI's, driving business with personally designed incentive programmes, developing training packages, holding motivational conference's and keeping business owners updated via her webinars and social media.

Amanda is proud to hold relationships with and speaks for many associations, charities, voluntary organisations, business federations, and networking groups. It is with this work that she can be seen hosting award ceremonies, International Women's day, speaking as an inspirational woman, heard on business radio slots and writing articles for business publications.
