About this upcoming session
The Fair Work Agency (FWA) has been introduced by the Employment Rights Act 2025 to consolidate several entities and create one independent body.
Its intention is to ensures workers’ rights are met and punish those responsible for failing in their duties.
Combining enforcement powers with a budget of £60.1 million for 2026/27, employers must be prepared for the FWA. This free webcast is designed to do that. It’ll cover:
- FWA’s purpose: Promote a healthier labour market where workers’ rights are respected and compliant businesses can grow.
- Areas of enforcement: With a broad scope, the FWA will enforce National Minimum Wage rights, modern slavery, and soon holiday pay and SSP.
- Several powers: From bringing tribunal claims on an employee’s behalf, enforcing statutory payments and issuing fines, the FWA’s powers are extensive.
