Free Pregnancy Risk Assessment Template
A maternity risk assessment is a process that looks at the specific hazards a working environment to expectant and new mothers. An assessment will commence upon an employee notifying their employer in writing that they are pregnant, have given birth in the last six months, or are breastfeeding. It’s important that the process involves the employee, ensuring their circumstances are factored in. The key steps are an initial assessment—this will occur upon receipt of written notification of pregnancy. Following that, it must be routinely reviewed during the pregnancy, at least once per trimester, this is because condition and risks can change. Discussions with the employee must be frequent to stay updated with their concerns and any medical advice they’ve received. Finally, if the company employs five or more people, findings of significance must be recorded; this includes identifying hazards, who could be harmed, and the measures to implement. Employers are legally required to conduct an assessment, and must consider the individual’s specific needs, as well as advice from their doctor or midwife.

Free Risk Assessment Template
A risk assessment template is a document that identifies potential workplace hazards, evaluates their harm, and records measures to mitigate highlighted risks. The main aspects of the template will include the identification of hazards (anything physical, chemical, biological, or ergonomic), the people at risk (how and to what extent), what measures are in place, and what controls can be implemented. Businesses that follow a template create a consistent company-wide approach to risk management and provide clear frameworks for all concerned. It acts as a formal record of due diligence, which is a legal requirement for most companies, it promotes safety awareness in the workplace, and through proactively addressing risks, costs from would-be accidents are saved.

Free Return to Work Form
A return to work template is a document or framework that manages employees’ transition back to the workplace after an absence. It’s helpful employee and manager, ensuring clear communication and consistency. Employers benefit effective absence management, helping HR and line managers monitor sickness patterns, this data is useful for highlighting underlying issues and addressing them before they cost businesses. Frequent interviews following absences indicate to employees that absenteeism is continually monitored, which serves as a deterrent for non-genuine sickness. The form provides written documentation of discussions, including a ‘fit note’, and any agreed adjustments. This paper trail demonstrates fair and consistent application of policy. Key aspects are confirming employees’ fitness, disclosing the cause of absence and possible recurrences, and deciding on reasonable adjustments, such as a phased return, flexible working, and necessary equipment.

Free Health & Safety Policy Template
Why do you need a health and safety policy? First and foremost, employers are legally entitled to have a policy in place. They protect businesses from financial and legal penalties, mitigates costs incurred from accidents and absences, and helps build company reputation. It demonstrates care toward employees, which might improve morale and increase productivity. A health and safety policy is made up of three key elements. There’s a statement of intent, which is a declaration signed whoever holds the most senior position within a company. It’ll state the organisation’s policy on health and safety, outlining its objectives and commitment to compliance. Secondly, there will be a section stipulating relevant health and safety roles and responsibilities within the business. Finally, and perhaps the most detailed aspect, there is a part dedicated to practical measures imposed to manage risks and achieve the company’s health and safety aims.
