What will the general election mean for employment law?
It’s official: the UK will be voting in the general election on Thursday 4th July.
The Labour Party are current firm favourites in the polls, and they’ve set out plans which would seriously shake up workers’ rights.
The Liberal Democrats and Conservatives haven’t released official manifestos, but they have discussed key employment law changes which they hope to implement.
Whatever the result, all main parties are planning to revamp employment law should they get into power. So, employers should expect major HR change in the coming months.
