WRC LogoThe Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) have announced the latest release (Version 3) of the Workplace Relations Complaint Form. The form, which is available on www.workplacerelations.ie, contains the following additions
  • the inclusion of the specific complaints that can be made to the Rights Commissioner Service that are provided for in the recently enacted Protection of Employees (Temporary Agency Work) Act 2012
  • the inclusion of a specific complaint under Discrimination/Equality relating to victimisation that can be taken under the Employment Equality Act, 1998
The full complaint form can be viewed by clicking here. You may recall that the delivery of a single complaint form to deal with all first instance complaints to the existing (5) workplace relations bodies (National Employment Rights Authority, Labour Court, Employment Appeals Tribunal, Labour Relations Commission and Equality Tribunal) was one of the early win objectives announced by Minister Richard Bruton on his announcement of the Workplace Relations Reform Programme. The first release of the Complaint Form was released accordingly on 3rd January, 2012. The second release, which reflected feedback from stakeholders and users, was released in March, 2012. The WRC have also stated that a version of the form which users will be able to submit online is currently being developed. Currently the form needs to be printed off and filled in manually.
