Business Development Manager 

Realistic Year 1 Earnings of £100,000 + Car + Benefits

Field based role Dorchester /Salisbury / Bournemouth

We have a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager to work from home, and develop new business from scratch, from initial introduction through to closing the deal with business owners. As this is a field based role, applicants must live around the 
Dorchester / Salisbury / Bournemouth area.

Do your ‘Must Haves’ for your next career move include uncapped commission, with a Guaranteed Year 1 earnings of at least £60,000 (Basic salary £30,000) with a realistic OTE of £100,000+ along with a fantastic benefits package including a company car (electric vehicle) / car allowance to get you where you need to be.

Our opportunity
As a Field based Business Development Manager, you will be developing new business from scratch, prospecting your potential target market through to closing sales opportunities. Selling Peninsula consultancy services which include our BrightHR people management online software solution. Helping small businesses manage their HR and letting them concentrate on growing their business

What's in it for you?
As a Business Development Manager in your first year we will a guarantee £60,000 as your minimum earnings. However realistic first year OTE is £100,000. You will also have the choice of a electric company car or car allowance, great benefits package and all the tools to work remotely successfully

About you

  • You'll need to have previous experience in a field based B2B sales role using a consultative selling approach
  • You'll be driven by your ambition and own results with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Resilient, confident, and tenacious with an engaging personality
  • You'll have the confidence and professionalism to liaise with business owners/decision makers
  • Be able to manage and update information accurately within the CRM system, using customer intelligence for planning your sales meeting
  • You'll be driven by great earning potential, and be able to show initiative to be the top performing deal maker
  • You’ll of course need a full driving licence, as this is a field-based role
